Future Fit Training founders, Rob and Kath Johnson, were managing a number of health clubs became dissatisfied with the standards of training and expertise offered by applicants for instructor roles. And so, Future Fit Training was born.

In 2008 FFT became the first health and fitness training providers to achieve ISO 90001 accreditation with the British Standards Institute. Moving into 2013 FFT launched three new schools of learning in The school of Personal Training, The School of Nutrition & The School of Pilates.

Following years of winning 'Training Provider of the Year' at the ukActive awards for delivering high quality learning and development services in the Leisure sector FFT expanded to form Future Fit Group, Future Fit For Business and Future Fit Technologies.

Recognising the value in a deeper understanding of movement we welcomed Biomechanics Education to the Future Fit Group as the first acquisition. Together with Biomechanics Education founder Rachel Frances Thomson we have continues to redefine the industry.

Future Fit acquired iCareiMove having seen the important work iCareiMove do in delivering impactful health services, courses, training programmes, business coaching, and public health events focused on ageing, women’s health, and chronic health conditions.

Recognising the importance of strengthening the sport workforce through specialist expertise, we welcomed Future Coach into the Future Fit Group. Founded by Stuart Armstrong, Future Coach brings a dedicated focus on raising standards across the UK sport system.
